They say that size doesn't matter.........

I'm a firm believer that you don't need 1000's of people in your audience to hit your revenue targets.
If...............
Your business model supports that.
It's far better to have a smaller more engaged audience than a big audience of people who never engage with your stuff.
The size of your audience doesn't really matter.
A big audience doesn't always equate to big buck businesses.
It doesn't matter how many followers you've got or whether your content has gone viral.
They're vanity metrics.
Of course you need a process of bringing people into your audience consistently and building a relationship with them but don't be fooled into thinking that you need 1000s of those people before you can start making money!
Too many business owners are focused on the vanity metrics around followers on social media or likes, comment and engagement in posts or number of people on your email list.
They're the vanity metrics of your marketing….
Have you ever worried about those things?
I get it, I totally do.
The thing is, they’re not really the things that you should be worrying about. They’re definitely not the things you should be focusing on.
Here’s the 4 things I’d suggest you focus on instead so that you can gain clients and get even better results in your business.
Be super clear on the problem you solve.
Ultimately your potential clients will want to experience the result you can help them achieve. I promise you, they’re not that bothered about the how you do it and what’s involved. They want the result you’ll help them achieve to stop them having that problem.
1) Focus on the BIGGEST PROBLEM your potential clients have
And importantly the ONE big result they want you to help them achieve.
When you can explain that really well, you’re onto a winner.
It's easier to consistently creating engaging content that your absolute dream client will resonate with and being niched into helping them resolve the BIGGEST PROBLEM will make your whole sales process easier.
2) QUALIFY people before adding them to your audience
We think of qualifying (and disqualifying) as part of the sales process, however, in reality qualification starts at the moment we connect with people and build our audience.
Asking the right questions.

Identifying the big problems.
Remember, you don’t need a big audience, you need the right audience.
Make sure you protect your lists and qualify people before you add them in.
Add questions on entry into your Facebook group.
Have a conversation to make sure you understand each other and are a potential good fit.
Yes, you have to be visible to more people but it’s important they’re the right kind of people.?
3) Spend your time on REVENUE GENERATING activity
I see so many people focus on the “vanity” elements of their business which is great for more established businesses but when you want to gain clients and put cash in the bank your efforts are best spent on revenue generating activities.?
Who do you know that you can have a conversation with and ask for a referral?
Who do you need to call to follow up on the discussion, proposal or price you sent across?
What marketing activity can you do that will drive people to take action and move towards you?
Are there any previous enquiries or leads that you’ve not moved proactively towards?
The key here is to step it up and rather than wait for prospects to come to you or for referrals to drop into your lap.
4) Ensure your BUSINESS MODEL sets you up for success....
If you're selling "low ticket" then the likelyhood is that your revenue targets are going to feel like they're still waaaaayyyyyyy to far away.
Package individual sessions up so rather than selling 5 sessions to 5 people to make £500 then sell 5 x sessions to 1 person for £500.
You'll still deliver the same number of sessions but you'll be selling to less people and therefore need less people in your audience!
If your model is sell it cheap then you've got to stack it high in terms of audience size.
Create a high ticket "package" then those consistent big revenue months don't still seem too far away!
At the end of the day we all want our businesses to make money and that comes with focusing on the right things.
What is it you must focus on over the next few weeks? Audience growth or leveraging the audience you've already got?
Because remember, size doesn't really matter. ;)
