Say More About That is Now HUMAN-ING Well!

Say More About That is Now HUMAN-ING Well!

?? First, things first: thank you for being here.

You may have subscribed to this newsletter under the name Say More About That, but as you can see, we've renovated a bit.

And for good reason.

???"Companies are backing away from DEI..."

???"DEI has become a political flashpoint..."

???"Alabama governor signs bill restricting DEI programs in public schools..."

Those are just a handful of the recent news headlines centered on diversity, equity, and inclusion.

We are at a crossroads in this industry and in our humanity as a whole.

And I want this newsletter to help people understand that while our identity matters are important, we are at a point where polarization rules the day.

As a result, we need to build better skills to "human well" across the board.

?? The grander point of this newsletter?

We've spent a lot of time highlighting our issues but that's still not bringing us together. My goal is to help us all be able to better hear the message of the equity movement so we can get some tangible behavior change across the line.

?? The Art of Human-Ing Well

The art of "human-ing well” - how to?better communicate, collaborate, and coexist across our differences.?

?? What about the scripts?

If you appreciated the tips, scripts, and tactics to speak up and advocate for yourself from the previous iteration of this newsletter, you can expect those to continue because all of that is a part of human-ing well.

?? My latest podcast episode

That's all for now. I can't wait to share some very exciting news with you next week.

Watch this space! ??

Love the new name, 'Human-Ing Well'! It reminds me of Warren Buffett's belief in constant growth and positivity. Keep shining and sharing! ????

It's such an interesting time, but I'm glad those fighting for equity remain.
