Say hello to 'feedforward'
New Trend Alert from Emma W. Thorne @LinkedIn News: Some companies are framing work commentary in a more forward-looking light.
Daniel Roth >> Who naturally likes hearing that someone thinks they are bad at something?
To answer Daniel's great question - no one likes hearing they're bad at something. It definitely doesn't come naturally to us. So no matter how brave we act about using the feedback as constructive criticism, the damage has been done. The workaround is to talk about things in general, rather than focus on the individual. That includes highlighting great examples of a group's achievements - not only in their official work, but also in their good attitude toward others. This is how we can infuse the individual with good vibes, instead of them having this recording of all the bad things mentioned playing over and over in their head for a very, very long time. You all know what I'm talking about ...
So in general this feedforward approach is theoretically correct, but also practically worthless, because feedback should really be about the functioning of non-egoistic systems. Not us egoistic individuals. Feedback also needs to be a two-way street to be really effective in optimizing our behavior. But in a system whose parts are separate, the feedback will only increase gaps even more.
So what do I mean by it being possible in non-egoistic systems? It can happen in a structure that wants to move forward in a reciprocal way. Not that they actually can in practice. But the intention is there to move towards it. This is already the beginning of the realization of the new era.
We Don't Have The Right Intention Yet
We still have no need, or reason to implement, such a responsibility. Right now the opposite is true. Everyone does what they think is best for themselves. That belongs to the old egoistic way of advancing. But now we're right on the verge of discovering the next method of development that will be revealed in man and in the world.
The integral method is a gradual and consistent process that's approaching us, which will impact every area of our lives. We'll have to deal with it as the new basis for our new life.

This will require some readjustments on our part, but the formula is very simple:
Looking forward to a shared future between us.
By supporting each other.
Both in understanding and feeling.
Acknowledging that no one can reach their full potential on their own.
But rather only through mutual support.
Then, mutual support becomes the good future of each and every one of us.
