Everyone started to introduce the 2FA authentication which add to more difficult and not-friendly user experience and then Google started to roll out a pop up notification for sign in which just asks Yes or No for all Google accounts

While major companies like Apple, Google, Microsoft and Firefox has started to roll out these, The W3C official announced WebAuthn - Web Authentication as new standard which will help and encourage others to follow this path.

So, What's changing? Everything !

You don't have a password anymore. You can use fingerprint, security keys or maybe even your face to unlock accounts across various sites on the Internet.
