Saying no is like building a fence around your garden. Saying no keeps people from stepping on your time, energy, and boundaries, just like a fence keeps people from stealing your flowers and vegetables.

Saying no is like putting on a life jacket before going into a turbulent sea. Just as a life jacket keeps you afloat and prevents you from drowning in rough waters, saying no keeps you grounded and prevents you from being overwhelmed by commitments and obligations.

Saying no is like hitting the pause button on a movie that's not worth watching. Just as pausing a movie allows you to reconsider whether it's worth your time, saying no allows you to evaluate whether an opportunity or request is worth your investment.

Saying no is a form of self-defense that helps you keep your independence and put your own needs first. It might be difficult to face your fears and doubts, but doing so is essential to making the changes you want to see in your life.
