Saving time with SharePoint Syntex
If you are already working with SharePoint, and have dozens of Documentlibraries with more than 5 fields. And everyday you have to upload documents unto it, updating the fields or metadata from document to document, then maybe you will be happy if you that SharePoint can do the job for you.
Today I am able to automatically upload my invoices from my inbox unto SharePoint Documentlibrary (using Power Automate), and let Syntex (SharePoint Document Understanding) fulfilling the fields for me. (It is 90% automatically covered, it could be 100% I believe). And using Syntex is actually very simple, the most challenge is the third part, train the extractors. I think this the most time I invested..., but now I think I find some tricks, which maybe I will share in another blog.
But, in this article, I want to tell, if someone want to start with that, and wondering what is better AI Builder (Form Processing) or Syntex, then I can recommend this blog from Chris.
Reading the blog from Chris about 5 months ago would save my time for googling and trying the tools. I just read the blog last week, and I would share this because there are a lot of good informations for starter.
