Save planet, save money

Our wallets know that climate change cannot be denied. Summer heat waves cause massive spikes in our energy consumption and bills. ?Unprecedented weather patterns decrease agricultural productivity, driving up grocery costs.? Our insurance premiums soar due to higher risk of floods and disasters. And even when we want to buy an electric vehicle, solar cells, or new appliances, climate change disrupts the supply chain. Stories of human misery abound, from Hawaii’s fires to Manhattan floods.? Again and again, our changing planet affects us.
Don’t look away. Denial changes nothing. Future generations need our help.? We can overcome our inaction and our anxiety.? At home, we create lists of climate friendly projects. At work, we conscientiously choose to modify our products and methods. Entrepreneurs dream up entirely new business to implement climate solutions. For our society to transition to a low-carbon footprint, we all need to transition from climate grief to resilience and action. And maybe, when we do, our climate solutions can even save us some money.
