The Save Group - strong recommendation

I strongly recommend the Save Group who do good things, generate good outcomes, but do it differently. Worth noting that I have no vested interest in this group.

The Save Group is a Human Resources Consulting company, that focuses on helping SMEs to align their people activity with their strategy. They do this by finding value added solutions that help address business related issues.

They have no retainers or fixed fee’s - they just get paid for what the client wants, when the client needs it. They charge $250 for ad-hoc hours requested and bill at the end of each month for approved/requested work, or a discounted rate of $200 per hour for upfront bundle hours purchased that can be used anytime in the next 12 months (25 hours+ minimum).

2. Drafting and reviewing employee/ company handbooks (all policies in one)
3. Compliance to employment legislation
4. Performance management
5. Annual goal setting and performance reviews
6. Employee retention strategies
7. Recruitment assistance
8. Training and development workshops
9. Restructures and redundancies
10. Bonus and commission scheme plans

Besides generalist HR Consulting they also offer a range of products and services to their clients that differentiates them from the rest of the HR players. These include:

1. Workplace culture surveys
2. Personality assessments and training
3. Business alignment surveys
4. Retention/Stay surveys
5. HRIS and payroll systems
