Save The Earth: Celebrating Earth Day Empowering Children

As Earth Day approaches, it's a poignant reminder of the interconnectedness of our environment and the well-being of all its inhabitants, especially the most vulnerable among us. Children living with disabilities face a dual challenge: navigating a world that is not always accommodating of their needs and often doing so from the margins of Lack of resources. This Earth Day let's shine a light on these young lives and reaffirm our commitment to inclusivity, sustainability and education.

Resilience of Disabled Children

In India children with disabilities and in South Africa children without enough resources, are disproportionately affected by poverty and lack of infrastructure in their pursuit for education, this being lack of resources and poor sanitation because of the types of pollution that may occur. The financial burden of disability can be overwhelming for families, pushing nearly one-fifth of households below the poverty line after accounting for disability-related expenses. Furthermore, educational opportunities for these children are often limited, curtailing their potential for future employment and perpetuating a cycle of income poverty.

Yet, amidst these challenges, there is resilience and hope. Action Change plays a vital role for Smirithi School for Children with special needs based in India which Is a school that lacks the needed resources for children living with physical and mental disability, the lack of resources deprives the children from getting the treatment and education that they deserve, Secondly The?
