Save the Children - A Timely PSA

As former Deputy Director of the Bureau of Narcotics Investigation, Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General and expert in law enforcement, I have a timely and important message to meet a deadly threat facing our children.

Due to a clear and present danger in our midst, a very important Public Service Message (PSA) is in order. The fun-filled holiday of Halloween is fast approaching. Our precious children and grandchildren are facing an existential threat to their very lives! About 300 youths per day are being murdered by the poisonous Fentanyl coming across our southern border. With the precursor chemicals exported by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and brought here by their evil Mexican cartel pals, the deadly drug plague is rolling across our homeland. Disgustingly children are now the target. The drug-pushing cartels are now masking the drug with?colors?that?look?like?candy.

Do your part. This Halloween do not give out any type of loose candy to the munchkins who are looking for a traditional “Trick or Treat”! Likewise, warn children not to eat any candy not safely packaged. Throw out the loose stuff. That is a reasonable short-term plan.

Over the longer term, concerned families should advocate former First Lady Nancy Reagan’s sage advice to “JUST SAY NO” when offered any kind of pill by a friend or stranger. Our kids and grandkids desperately need this important life-saving information. Aside from parents and grandparents warning children about the danger of drugs, schools also have a critical role to play in that our elementary and high school teachers should provide drug education along with routine reading, writing, and arithmetic.
