Sava100Crore - The Next Billion

Everyone is talking about the next billion in South Asia, especially the mobile first in India that are getting connected fast.

I spent the last summers traveling across several Tier 2 Indian cities and speak to small size entrepreneurs, shopkeepers, local merchants and more. This was part of the Digital Desh initiative.

One one side I spoke with these guys and then on the other I read flashy headlines by large companies trying to custom build products for the next billion based on the data they have via the programs they run (Google, fb).

In the urban world everyone is thrilled with the 'ohh that small merchant is transacting on whatsapp' this is the next big revolution.

But nobody has tried understanding the ambitions of #Sava100Crore or the next billion. What do they aspire for and what do they think is keeping India from changing the world?

This inspired me to begin #Sava100Crore - ambitions of the next billion.

#Sava100Crore is a video talk-show where we will invite Indians at home and outside and non-Indians that are keenly investing in and building for #Sava100Crore

I will host this show personally because I feel it will drive insights that will:

1. Connect the world more meaningfully with the #Sava100Crore
2. Inspire Indians to solve the right problems and build billion dollar companies at home
