Our partner is a distinguished logistics provider in Saudia Arabia. It offers flexible options to meet the logistical needs of its end customers and is keen to provide ideal and integrated logistical solutions. The company wanted to manage the delivery requests with the highest level of professionalism and efficiency.?

As the company grew bigger, communicating delivery needs between sales staff, professional drivers and each distribution center wasn’t easy. Top priority communicated was to manage a complex supply chain and maintain high levels of customer service.??

Additionally, the distribution centers and the distributor's ability to meet its customers' delivery needs were creating liability concerns.?

Automation of distribution processes was required for facilitating drivers who were responsible for picking up the parcels from the warehouses and delivering them to the doorstep of customers.??

Our partner also wanted to have vertical integration so it could control different stages along the supply chain. Instead of relying on external suppliers, the company wanted to bring processes in-house to have better control over the process.?

The team deployed by CodeNinja on this extensive project included a mobile app developer, a designer, two software engineers, a software architect and a project manager. The team was engaged throughout with partner’s technical representatives.?

Creating a positive experience for the distributor's customers, the engineering team started with improving visibility and communication. CodeNinja created interactive dashboards and developed the technical features of the app allowing deliveries to be met on time. Better visibility helped streamline deliveries and made it possible for the distributor to schedule shipments with confidence.?

The actions inside a distribution center are the catalyst for speeding deliveries, managing inventories and cutting costs. The app helped track the internal team & drivers track the flow of inventory through and around the distribution center, monitor product velocity, and provide advance notice of arrivals, boosting productivity.??

By enabling the exchange of real-time data, logistics operations were easily accessible to authorized personnel, providing insight into each delivery. Much of the reporting was automated, which meant no one is waiting for a driver to update the system and drivers can focus on driving rather than manually updating information. CodeNinja is currently working on the third model, involving freight transportation across continents, setting up optimized sea, air & land routes, for past 2 months now and building an MVP, facilitating deliveries between countries. Our partner is providing vendors a platform where they can put in their routes or request new ones for freight delivery while connecting vendors from different countries and continents.?
