The Super League Triathlon 2022 Championship Series was concluded in NEOM, Saudi Arabia after an exciting racing season by the athletes and an intense planning and collaboration between the main stakeholders to bring together this world class event to the Kingdom over the last 7 months.?

Planning started in April 2022 where the Saudi Triathlon Federation (STF) was invited to NEOM to attend a venue scouting expedition along with Super League Triathlon and members of the Neom Beach Games organizing committee under the Sports Sector in NEOM. The aligned vision and objectives of the three organizations to create a meaningful impact on the triathlon community was evident from the beginning, and the following planned collaborations and activations were agreed upon in the planning phase, and executed successfully:?

Arena Games London and Singapore:

Saudi delegation representation in Super League Arena Games London (April 2022) and in Arena Games Singapore where Saudi Triathletes?Arwa Al Amoudi and Faisal Al Harith?participated alongside the professional athletes in the Arena Games season finale.??

Technical Officials Support for SLT NEOM 2022:

Graduation of the first technical officials’ cohort in the Kingdom, who were approved to officiate in the Super League NEOM 2022 Championship. The Technical Official Delegation was represented by:?Yousuf Alluhaydan, Fatimah Radhi, Sawsan Shaker, and Faisal Alfayez. All 4 TOs were present in the athlete briefings, familiarizations and worked alongside race officials SLT to ensure the race was executed flawlessly.?

Stars of Tomorrow to NEOM:

A delegation from STF comprised of seven young triathletes (Toleen Alrashid, Ameera Sharahili, Yara Abdlaal, Ahmed Ali, Abdullah Al Marri, Abdulrahman Adawi, and Elyas Albattat)?spending the entirety of last weekend in Neom shadowing, training, and interacting with the best professional triathletes in the world in a program called “Stars of Tomorrow”?

?Saudi Triathletes Race in NEOM:

Two Saudi Athletes (Faisal Al Harith and Abdulrahman Al Ghamdi)?racing as part of the championship finale teams alongside the world-class athletes in a show of inspiration to the triathletes of tomorrow in Saudi Arabia and abroad.?

Triathlon Outreach Clinic in Jeddah

A school triathlon clinic taking place on Sunday the 30th?of October in Jeddah hosting over 40 students from around the Kingdom; achieving the objective of introducing participants to the sport of triathlon, and providing them with the opportunity to meet, greet, train, learn, and be inspired from some of the best professional triathletes in the world. The triathlon clinic comprised of:?

(i)??????????????4 training stations i.e., swim, bike, run and transition. All participants passed through each station for a 45-minute training block each.

(ii)?????????????A Q&A session with Super League Triathlon athletes Emma Jeffcoat, Mathew Hauser, Ryan Fisher, Tayler Reid, and Nicole Van Der Kaay, and?

(iii)????????????An aquathlon mixed relay race activity to end.
