The 92nd?Saudi National Day is here! Every year on 23rd?of September, the Kingdom commemorates the unification of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and its founding at the hands of King Abdul Aziz bin Abdul Rahman Al Saud, may Allah have mercy on him.
Wherever they are, Saudis proudly celebrate this day. Whether it be on the streets of Riyadh, the corniche of Jeddah, a park in London, or a random university lecture hall in the US, you are sure to spot a Saudi dressed in green!
As the country takes momentous leaps in line with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, the world is witnessing unparalleled transformation and growth in the country. The Kingdom is continually striving to create a diversified, innovative and world-leading nation for the benefit of future generations.?
Long have gone the days of Saudi Arabia’s only accomplishment being that it is the world’s largest oil producer; today the Kingdom is leading the way in science, digital technology, economic transformation, and in innovative solutions to the world’s climate problems and food shortages.
These waves of successes and changes are from individual Saudis too, across all age groups, from children to adults. Individuals, including Saudi students who brought home six prizes and twenty-two medals, showcased innovation in scientific research and advancement at the Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair 2022, held in Atlanta, US.
Individuals, such as the young Saudi inventors who have created solutions to extend the shelf-life of food, others who invented technology to allow blind and deaf people more mobility, and those who developed a safety defence system for the police that immobilises projectiles before they reach their target vehicle, exemplify this innovation.

Never has there been a more significant time for the people of Saudi Arabia to take pride in the Kingdom's unprecedented achievements.
