** Al-Riyadh newspaper reports that the Saudi Public Transit Authority has invited international companies to express interest in public-private partnerships for the provision of passenger and cargo railway services.
** Projects include the Riyadh-Dammam and Northern lines, as well as a land bridge that will link the kingdom's Gulf and Red Sea ports.
