Saudi Arabia Giga and Megaprojects

Saudi Arabia Giga and Megaprojects

What could be more imagine stimulating, inspiring, uniting, and challenging than the big 'impossible' project? The history of humankind knows such examples: Great wall of China, Pyramids, Panama Canal, First Satellite in Space, First Man in Space, First Man on the Moon, and so on.

Now we learn a new phrase -- 'giga-project'. And what is the difference between a giga- and a mega-project?

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is embarking on a giga and mega project development program, funded by the Public Investment Fund (PIF) . The idea of this program is to create new ecosystems, unlock new sectors, diversify the economy, and enable pioneering new technology. There are currently 5 giga-projects in the Kingdom, with several mega-projects underway within each development.

To learn more about giga- and mega-projects, priority sectors and key deals in Q1 2023, as well as special economic zones (SEZs) descriptions read the fresh Quarterly Magazine by INVEST SAUDI : https://investsaudi.sa/en/investment-highlights/resources
