Saudi Arabia will not be a poor country as oil prices fell, because Allah has guaranteed the prosperity of the country, caused by the prayer of Abraham :

Our Lord, I have settled some of my descendants in an uncultivated valley near Your sacred House, our Lord, that they may establish prayer. So make hearts among the people incline toward them and provide for them from the fruits that they might be grateful.

That the above verse is related to Makkah Al Mukarramah, that's for sure, but all we know that Makkah is part of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the leader of this country who guard the Grand Mosque in which there is a Ka'bah which is the Qiblah of Muslims throughout the world, who are praying five times a day.

How about Madinah, this City as well part of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its will be protected by Allah SWT because of Rasulullah SAW praying

"O God bless us for our fruit and bless our city (Medina), bless us in our sha '(dose). Bless us in our measure (Mud). O Allah indeed Ibrahim your servant, and Your prophet, and verily I am Your servant and Your prophet. Verily he (Ibrahim) prayed to You for Mecca and I prayed to You for Medina, just as the prayer Ibrahim implies for Makkah and is accompanied by his fellowman. (Narrated by Bukhari Muslim, Imam Malik, ath-Thabarani and others).
