Repeating Painful History: Israel Gets Part I
?As Israel was about to enter the Promised Land, Moses repeated the law that brought blessings for obedience, but serious loss by forgetting their covenant with God. He later said, “Return…I am married to you,” as He regarded their agreement as a marriage.
Israel’s greatest prophet, Elijah, brought them to repentance and they returned from exile to renew their covenant with Ezra and Nehemiah, but they failed to count the sevens—70 weeks of years pointed to their Messiah in Daniel 9:24-26 with destruction of Jerusalem in 70 AD for failing to receive him.
The painful lesson of history that’s about to repeat is again Israel’s failure to count the sevens. Moses cited God as saying, If you walk contrary to Me, I will punish you seven times over, Leviticus 26:18,1. Ezekiel shared their pain as he was asked to lie on his side and eat special bread for 390 days, “each day for a year” that Israel was in apostasy, Ezekiel 4:5,6. That would be 7 x 390--2730 years they were to be exiled from their land.
Sennacherib came and took them captive in 722 BC. Subtracting 722 from 2730 is 2008 but no “0” year means their exile should have ended in 2009 when Pope Benedict went to Jerusalem. Rome was a sign to flee that early Christians understood. They fled and were spared the siege by Titus, but Jews failed to accept Messiah’s warning.
90% of Jews in “Israel” have no interest in their spiritual heritage. They didn’t honor God’s timing in Lev 26 as they came for free land offered by the UN. If Jews had heeded Yahshua’s words, they could have avoided Titus’ siege and what may be coming next spring when “all nations” (neighboring or Muslim nations) may gather against Jeru-salem with houses rifled and women raped, Zechariah 14:1,2, but the Lord will roar with an earthquake, Joel 3:16.
Many preachers are citing Gog and Magog as Russia and warning about an impending Middle East conflict seen in Ezekiel 38, but they fail to see that Ezekiel 36 and 37 come first, but the Jews in Israel don’t want Christians.
God is going to repeat the history of the Exodus (Jer 30:3; Ezek 36:24-28) This is the setting for a great shaking when dry bones come together to get flesh and life. Also, two sticks become one stick and one kingdom in Ezek 37:16,17,22. The two sticks are one for the northern ten tribes of Israel, also called Ephraim; one for Judah.
Judah represent s Jews who accept their Messiah and Israel represents Christians who accept the laws of Moses, Malachi 4:4,5. They will be fully compatible as God’s kingdom, but God will allow Muslims to get unbelieving Jews out of Israel and then He will get Muslims out. “The Lord shall roar the Jerusalem…heaven and earth shall shake,” Joel 3:16. Muslims will flee, Zech 14:1-5. Both these passages have “day of the Lord” context. What does it mean?
“Day of the Lord” is the end-time extension of “night of the Lord” when God judged Egypt for enslaving Israel and throwing their babies in the river. The US is worse than Egypt, throwing 63 million babies in the trash and it has most people in bondage to alcohol, tobacco and drugs—medical care is also bondage to monthly visits, tests, Rx’s.
God’s judgment falls on the US when He roars with an earthquake. It will “shake the earth terribly,” Isaiah 2:12,19. Scientists say the San Andreas is 80 years overdue and calamity can come anytime. It should fit 9-11 timing in Numbers 9:10,11 that provides ?Passover as a time of judgment, but a month later, like for travel if a Jew couldn’t get back in time for Passover .
Jews disrespect Yahshua as Messiah, saying he didn’t follow Moses, but Christ’s words, “as the days of Noah,” is an example of his use of a 9-11 law for Noah. Numbers 9:10,11 provides for Passover a month later because Noah buried Methuselah whose name meant, when he dies, it will come. Num 9:10,11. The Flood had Passover timing in the 2nd spring month. People rejecting God’s provision of the ark chose death on 10th day Gen 7:4,11.
That’s when the sacrifice was selected for Passover, Ex 12:3. People selected themselves for sacrifice vs Flood. Next spring offers an amazing sign that fits the day Noah entered the ark. On May 19, 1780 New Englanders had an unexplainably dark day as cows came from the field and chicken went to roost and lamps were needed to read at mid-day. Christians took it as a sign of Christ’s coming. “The day of the Lord” is a dark day, Joel 2:2 and 2:31.
To unbelievers, it may seem like just an odd coincidence that the dark day repeated on the 200th anniversary as Mt St Helens erupted and wind carried its ashes to darken three NW states on May 19, 1980. Only God could do the dark day 200 years apart to mark May 19 as a sign that will also be the 10th day from New Moon, Exod 12:2,3.

?Noah entered the ark. To believers, it may seem that God was marAlbert Einstein said, “Coincidence is God’s way of remaining anonymous.” But Christians should see God was marking May 19 for being out of cities.
If we see Muslims taking Jerusalem next spring, we should heed Christ’s warning to flee Jerusalem, Matt 24:15-21 Martial law will come to cities after the earthquake as lawlessness prevails and 90% will die. (an expert’s opinion)
