How and Why Judgment Comes to the US
?In our previous lesson, we saw the US will be at war with Iran for attacking Israel, supported by Daniel’s vision “at the time of the end” in Daniel 8 and Zechariah 14.
?But when Muslims celebrate their mosque and Quran that says “Allah has no son,” that would be good timing for when “the Lord shall roar from Jerusalem…the heavens and earth shall shake,” Joel 3:16.
?Those passages have “day-of-the-Lord” context, and the earthquake will let the world know that biblical end-times are starting when God’s side will prevail in the controversy between good and evil.
?The end-times are a 7-year period like the seven years of famine that came to Egypt after seven good years in Genesis 41. The US is like Egypt. Egypt was the greatest nation then as we are since World War II when the US saved Europe from falling to Hitler and stopped Japan after they attacked Pearl Harbor.
?But since then, we have become “the great Satan” as Muslim nations say, with Hollywood exporting all kinds of sin to the world and Roe v. Wade has meant the murder of 63 million babies (https://www.foxnews.com/politics/abortions-since-roe-v-wade ).
?God punished Egypt for throwing Israel’s babies in the Nile River but the US is more guilty, and while Egypt enslaved Israel, the US has most people in bondage to alcohol, tobacco and drugs—even medical care is a form of bondage if a person has to see the doctor for tests or drugs monthly when they could be free with better habits of eating as a few physicians document-- https://youtu.be/6bgtyv3juYI
?God “executed judgment” on Egypt (Exodus 12) and took Israel to a covenant that made them His kingdom. That was a jubilee event as when slaves were given freedom and land was restored to them, Leviticus 25.
?Jubilee was the 50th year, but it started on the Day of Atonement in the previous year on the 10th day of the 7th month, counting from spring. That will be Wednesday, September 27 when the 10th day from when the new moon crescent is seen.
?It will be interesting to watch that day and also on the New Moon Day (September 18) that the Bible calls the Feast of Trumpets. The Feast of Trumpets (Leviticus 23:24) is likely when the trumpets of Revelation 8 and 9 will be initiated, and we should watch for some indication.

?We saw it on the New Moon in 2008 when the US Senate voted $760 billion to bail out bankers and the stock market crashed for 10 days until the Day of Atonement.
?But the trumpets of Revelation 8 and 9 are initiated by the earthquake in verse 5—the earthquake when the Lord “roars” to shake heavens and earth in Joel 3:16 and that is not likely until Muslims take Jerusalem. Nevertheless, “coming events cast their shadow before” and we do well to watch for signs at biblical times as in 2008.
?The plagues that fell on Egypt attacked their gods. They worshiped the Nile River as a source of water for their agricultural economy, and the Nile turned to blood. They worshiped cattle which got disease. The US worships the dollar which could say, In This God We Trust. We may see more economic events soon.
