Saturday Art Series: A journey through Middle Eastern Colors

I am thrilled to share the second article of my Saturday Art Series with all of you. Through this series, I will be showcasing some of my favorite abstract paintings and sharing the stories and inspirations behind them.

Today’s pieces feature a stunning combination of dark red, burgundy, Prussian blue, and orchid yellow. The colors blend together in a beautiful way, creating captivating visual experiences that draw the eye in and hold your attention.

As an artist, I love the freedom and creativity that abstract painting allows. It's a chance to explore new colors and textures, and to create something truly unique that expresses my vision and emotions. Those paintings were particularly special to me, as they represent a new direction in my art. I wanted to challenge myself to use bolder and more vibrant colors, and I'm thrilled with how it turned out.

There's something magical about the way colors can blend together and create an entirely new visual experience.

The inspiration behind those pieces came from an exhibition on the Middle East I attended few years ago. I was struck by the vibrant colors and intricate patterns of the textiles and mosaics that I saw there. I wanted to capture some of that energy and beauty in my paintings. The dark red and burgundy represent the warmth and richness of the region, while the Prussian blue and orchid yellow add pops of color and vitality. Together, they create a sense of depth and movement that evokes the sights and sounds of the Middle East.
