Through the ages and across different cultures around the world, Salt has signified alliance, hospitality, a way to welcome visitors, a covenant, protection, and purification. Salt is essential to life, it preserves, heals, adds flavor, it blesses and is cleansing. 

To welcome you to our (SATIS) House, the artist wants to welcome you by offering you a handful of this marvelous mineral and invite you to interact with the exhibition by placing it next to the small installation made of Salt titled Shelter. When you place your handful of salt she asks you to do it in a gesture of gratitude for something in your life for which you are grateful. Something that shelters you in any form. 

We are grateful that you can attend and join us to celebrate all the artists in this exhibition and our new gallery space.
