A big round of applause for our UETIANS IN SUPARCO ??????
These satellites aim to provide data for land mapping, agricultural classification and assessment, urban and rural planning, natural disasters management and monitoring and few other remote sending use cases as per SUPARCO. It's the first of 3 such that need to be launched. It is the first time that this level of Satellite design, development and testing has been totally done in Pakistan. Alhamdu-Lillah we are self-sufficient now in making this kind of satellites. There are so many reasons for launching from a reliable Launch vehicle so it was planned from China. Congratulations to our engineer's community. Majority of workforce in this mission is from UET with Lead Person Mr. Irfan Aslam also being a UET 95 graduate.
