Satan should not be allowed in the Family unity!

The Lord God, took Adam whom He created in the beginning and put him in the Garden of Eden to cultivate it and to take care of it (Gen 2:15). After this incident, God gave him a suitable "companion"! So we must say that Adam received two rewards from God on that happy day! The first reward, the garden…. Adam must cultivate and protect it. The second reward, a companion or a wife ... Adam should have a good relationship with her and he should take care of her too!! Thus, Adam received from God that day the noble task of guarding the Garden of Eden and his wife.

But Adam failed to accomplish this unparalleled task. Instead of guarding the garden vigilantly, Adam has allowed Satan to come into the garden! What happened then? The garden, which was supposed to be a spring oasis, turned into a desert, where "thorns and thistles" grew. This situation had occurred not only in the garden but also in Adam and Eve relationship. Yes, Satan had entered between the relationship of Adam and Eve who were united in "bone of bones and flesh of flesh .... and in one flesh" (Gen. 2:23,24; 3:1).

You see, 'one' is always waiting to divide the unity. Immediately after the verse that God had put them together, in the next verse, the Devil entered into the garden! We must never forget this. The serpent's sole purpose is to separate those whom God has united together. We must be responsible for keeping away the devil, “serpent” in our family and must be careful to protect the relationship between husband-wife-children.

Prayer:

Loving Father! Satan tries to 'crack' many times in the divine family relationship that you have joined. Help us to live in unity, with God fear! In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.
