What is it?
It is a comprehensive guide that outlines the technical skills, and proficiencies required at every level within our organization.
It is designed to empower our engineering workforce to excel in their roles and embrace continuous learning.
Why do we need it?
With the rapid evolution of technology, staying ahead requires a clear roadmap.
Our Technical Competency Framework ensures that each team member understands her/his current skill set, identifies areas for growth, and gets skill development opportunities.
We also use the framework for organizational processes such as staffing the projects, performance evaluation, career development planning, salary revisions, and promotions.
How does it work?
Our framework groups the technical skills based on the technical areas we serve our customers in, define a proficiency scale called ‘Sasken Measure of Aptitude and Proficiency’ (KenMAP), method of assessing an employee to determine her/his proficiency level, and provides a progression plan for each skill group.
From entry-level to leadership positions, we are committed to providing the resources our workforce needs to succeed.
