SARB launches CBDC Khokha 2 report

I’m delighted to have participated in the launch event of wholesale CBDC project Khokha 2 by the South African Reserve Bank. It is a key project to advance knowledge around tokenised CBDC and interactions with a tokenised debt instrument (debenture) and a stable coin as part of the broader trend towards greater diversification in financial markets.

It was great to have a chance to discuss CBDCs with you Ousmène! I'm hoping we can catch up in the near future.
