Saraki's Trial At The Cct By Aiyamenkhue Edokpolo

The trial of Saraki by the Code of Conduct Tribunal signal an era of uncompromising war against corruption. If an APC stalwart of the Senate President's standing can be charged to court on offences allegedly committed since 2003, it clearly shows that public office holders should be careful and its no longer business as usual. Its also an affirmation of President Buhari's declaration that "corrupt elements within the APC will not escape justice". 

I respectfully call on the ICPC and EFCC to be proactive in investigating serving public office holders; especially those without immunity and not wait till they leave office were they may have muddled up the allegations. Host community organizations should be sensitized by these anti-grafts agencies on collaborative imperatives in terms of checking corporate bodies in their domains.
