Hello to all of our readers out there, and thank you for helping to make SapienceS2P into the growing SAP consultancy you see today. Let’s take a little time to look at everything we’ve achieved in 2020, and everything we’ve got planned for 2021. 

The year started out with the Covid-19 pandemic, which is still greatly affecting businesses and society as a whole. However, in our case we’ve built on the challenges brought about by the global pandemic to offer our customers more in the way of support and opportunities. 

Let me tell you about some of our success stories...  

Free advisory support during the global pandemic 

SapienceS2P offered new customers free access to our wealth of knowledge and experience as part of our efforts to support businesses through the Covid-19 crisis. Like many other organisations, we have been willing to put in time and effort to help support the global and local economy during these difficult times.  

What’s more, this period of free advisory support has given customers who take advantage of it the chance to identify issues with their SAP Ariba deployment and plan ways to deal with them. Many SAP digital procurement customers struggling to identify complex issues with their SAP Ariba deployments. Our service has made it easy for these customers to get the most out of their SAP products.  

Our growing project portfolio  

Over the last year SapienceS2P has seen a steady rise in the number of new projects on our books. Despite the complex state of the global economy, we’ve been able to show a slow but steady increase in the amount of business we do.  

At the same time, the SapienceS2P brand has raised its profile over the last year. New clients are starting to see just how much SapienceS2P has to offer its customers as a whole, rather than what our individual consultants are able to offer one on one. As we go forward into 2021, our team of highly qualified consultants will continue giving our customers a huge competitive advantage by providing the best possible service with high levels of flexibility and innovation.  

Two chatbots developed and launched on the SAP App Store  

Starting out as part of a way for SAP partner companies to help businesses and keyworkers affected by the pandemic, our integrated API chatbot solutions for MS Teams and Slack rapidly grew into something we wanted to develop and deploy commercially.  

Our initial idea focussed on ways to offer busy keyworkers with little chance of in-depth SAP Ariba training rapid access to information about stores of vital supplies like PPE and other health care equipment. The proof of concept stage ended up taking off when we found out one of our major clients was interested in how our solution could help their staff.  

So far, 2020 has seen the rollout of two versions of our conversational API chatbot, one for Microsoft Teams (Roshi) and one for Slack (Satori). Both solutions are available via the SAP App Store. By giving SAP Ariba client companies fingertip access to a wide range of data and reports by leveraging the powerful SAP Ariba Network API Library, both solutions work seamlessly with existing chat platforms like MS Teams and Slack.  

Becoming an SAP official partner 

An important step for SapienceS2P this year, we became official SAP PE Build partners in 2020. Being an accredited SAP partner will bring our clients a range of extra benefits now and in the future. The SAP partnership programme supports its partners via a wide range of high quality benefits and services. 

All of this filters through to the customer, giving them a better service all around. From access to dedicated demonstration servers through to better trained sales staff, everyone gets something by choosing to work with an official SAP partner company. 

While at the moment SapienceS2P is an SAP PE Build partner, focussed on application and solution development, we’re working towards adding PE Sell and PE Support to our portfolio as we grow. 

Our growing team 

As 2020 has rolled on, we’ve seen the SapienceS2P team change and grow. Our technical team has seen several notable additions – including our new Director of Digitalisation and Security, Hari Natarajan; our new Upstream Lead Consultant, Divya V. 

Additionally, the SapienceS2P outsourced team is about to grow, with new sales and chatbot development additions accompanying us into the new year. 

Invested in innovation 

All of this and more helps showcase just how much SapienceS2P is invested in innovation. Our growing technical team is dedicated to offering new and existing customers the best in SAP Ariba and S/4 Hana development and troubleshooting. Meanwhile, our new chatbot applications continue to be developed and expanded, even after their launch on the SAP App Store.  

As a company we’re dedicated to offering our staff access to the best in training and real-world experience. Something that gives you, our customers, the best possible service time and time again. 

Going forward into 2021 

As we go forward into 2021, we’ll see more innovation, along with the steady expansion of our technical teams and client base. SapienceS2P will continue to work towards improving our services ahead of what our competitors offer.  

By leveraging our highly skilled workforce and carefully making the most of our ability to support our customers through these difficult times, we should continue to see SapienceS2P grow ahead of the competition.
