SAP User Experience

SAP User Experience

SAP has greatly evolved over the past 40 years with regard to user experience to a mature stage today. Starting from R/2, R/3 as a rigid yet stable user interface then moving into browser interface early 2000’s by exposing GUI screens which followed by a native portal experience with content management, collaborations and supporting 3rd party portals and partner plugins. SAP acquired Sybase for a native mobile experience. Innovations followed rapidly by introducing SAP UI5, SAP Personas to enable standard SAP GUI as HTML screens for simple user experience. Later on, SAP introduced Fiori as native UX that shift the focus from business process to a user profile and experience. Yes, user experience continuously evolving in SAP as we believe that technology is useless if the products we are creating are not simple and intuitive to use.

SAP Fiori

CoPilot will help you with your tasks and job much more efficient by helping you to do things and even propose actions, the following summarizes what SAP CoPilot can help you with in native SAP interface.

See it in action, John is a Purchasing Clerk tracking and managing contracts validity in a seamless flow with collaboration

Talk with SAP CoPilot

SAP CoPliot empowered with artificial intelligence. The following quick video from SAP TechEd shows how to interact intuitively with SAP systems using natural languages processing. and image recognition to support business processes and materials catalogs

Finally, SAP User Experience has evolved from a traditional system interface into smart user experience powered artificial intelligence that will enable you to deliver much more in less time to enable "working smarter than harder"

Mohammad -- I think there's a typo in the YouTube video (should be TechEd 2017, no?) Regards, Timo
