SAP TM - Troubleshooting LSP scenario setup

As a seasoned SAP consultant, I recently had the opportunity to assist a Transportation Management (TM) consultant in troubleshooting a complex scenario involving a Logistics Service Provider (LSP) and the end-to-end processes of posting freight settlement documents and forward settlement documents. The consultant was facing challenges in setting up the process correctly, which was impacting the overall efficiency and accuracy of their transportation processes.

The issues encountered while setting up the process were mainly related to understanding the intricate business processes and how SAP integrates and implements these processes. It was crucial to have a deep understanding of the interconnected modules such as Sales and Distribution (SD), Material Management (MM), Financial Accounting (FI), and TM to effectively troubleshoot and resolve the issues.
