As of December 31, 2027, SAP's support for SAP Solution Manager will come to an end. The functions currently attributed to SAP Solution Manager will be seamlessly transitioned to SAP Cloud ALM.
The assessment process for transitioning to Cloud ALM involves the SAP readiness check. This evaluation method entails scrutinizing the current functions within your SAP Solution Manager, subsequently confirming the availability of corresponding alternatives within Cloud ALM.
Notably, Cloud ALM continuously expands its range of capabilities. As a proactive measure, it is recommended to conduct this readiness check on an annual basis. This empowers each customer with the flexibility to decide whether to transition specific functions to SAP Cloud ALM incrementally or to await the comprehensive availability of all functions before making the shift.

To prepare an SAP Solution Manager:
It's important to note that incorrect setup of the RFC (Remote Function Call) for the destination "WEBADMIN" can lead to potential issues, possibly resulting in a short dump. Ensuring the proper configuration of this RFC destination is crucial to avoid such complications.
Running the check
Run program /SDF/RC_ALM_COLLECT_DATA in your solution manager production system. Select the option Schedule Analysis:

When the job is finished select Download Analysis Data and save the file.
Upload the result file on the Readiness page in SAP for me on?this URL.
