SAP Plant Connectivity at HMI 2019

I visited the SAP Booth at the HMI 2019 to see the big exhibit on Integrated Manufacturing (“Open Integrated Factory”). Core to the exhibit is the Plant Connectivity Component (“PCo”) and I remembered how my team struggled in 2010/2011 to keep Plant Connectivity alive and laid out the superior architecture that continues to be the basis of the component. We believed into the product back then, envisioning the Industrial Internet when nobody talked about this.
