SAP is migrating to Microsoft Azure!

Microsoft and SAP will deploy each other's technology internal as part of a strengthened cloud partnership.
SAP's private managed cloud service, HANA Enterprise Cloud, already runs on Azure, and now the company will migrate more than a dozen business-critical system to Azure, including the SAP S/4HANA system supporting Concur, an SAP company.
Microsoft will now deploy SAP S/4HANA on Azure to run its own internal finance process.
Microsoft said its deployment would consist of shifting off legacy SAP finance applications and implementing SAP S/4HANA Central Finance running on Azure. Microsoft will also connect SAP S/4HANA to Azure AI and analytics services for more powerful financial reporting and decision making.
The two companies will document the project to use as a framework for customer deployments of Azure and SAP.
Customers are already leveraging the combined software giants' technologies, with Australian business Village Roadshow, Pact Group and Ixom all working with partners to migrate SAP to Azure.
