SAP Integration Weekly: Copenhagen event and release 2409 of Figaf

Last chance to register for our SAP PI to Integrate Suite Migration event next week in Copenhagen. I'm really looking forward to it. We got an amazing lineup of speakers and we participants.

We have less than 5 seats left.

So if you are planning or running a migration and you are a short flight or train ride from Denmark then reach out.

Let's see if you can make it.

We had a lot rain this week, so next week should be super.

Figaf release 2409 is out

We just released the September release of figaf. It is not the biggest release we have created in terms of headline features, but there has been a huge list of improvements. Most you will not see but just bring better user experiance.

The thing you will for sure notice is

  • Fingerprint for iflows to ensure the you don't have something strange
  • Checking design guidelines when transporting integration
  • Give BPMN iflows in list
  • Better layout of migrated iflwo

Testing linked iFlows

Can you test iFlows linked/chained together via JMS/ProcessDirect?

And if they originate from SAP PI/PO.

?

Yesterday, I had a case where I needed to show how a customer could migrate their SAP PI/PO test cases to the Integration Suite.

Once we looked at their scenario, it was impossible to test without having to test with our chains.

One Sender iFlow that resulted in two different output flows.

This works out of the box if you have used the Pipeline migration with Figaf.

It takes a little more effort to set up if you have migrated them without using Figaf, but not a lot.

I created the following video to show how to get it started.?

?

SAP Cloud Integration Dashboard

I wanted to build an excellent overview of your SAP Cloud Integration System.

One will enable you to know what is happening in your landscape.?

?

I plan to create an inventory report of all the iFlows, Scripts, and other objects in your landscape.

?

Some of the ideas at the moment is:

  • iFlow description
  • Endpoints delivered http/process direct/JMS
  • Dependent object
  • Last change data and ticket
  • Resources used?
  • Security artifacts used

Would something like it be useful for your landscape?

What valuable information should we add to the list? Share your thoughts on my post on LinkedIn.

CPI Helper presented at Devtoberfest

?

Their founder, Dominic Beckbauer , will present at Devtoberfest on 25 September 2024 and showcase the key features of CPI Helper. Moreover, learn about the its development journey and how you can participate.

?

Lastly, gain valuable tips and tricks to accelerate your integration tasks.

Learn more about it here.

Looking forward to get feedback from my employees participation in the event next week ????
