SAP Integration Weekly 49: SAP Teched next yer

Hello there,

There has been a lot to keep track of this week in SAP Integration.

?

Improve your SAP Integration Practice as a SAP Consultant

SAP integration should be fast. But manual work slows you down.

Learn how to automate these manual steps in 3 simple steps

Creating new SAP Integration is a fast process. You can quickly build some solid integrations.

However, one of the significant parts is all the governance and how to move integration to production in a scalable way.

?If you need to do this for all your clients, it becomes a huge part of the delivery that you need to take care of.

In your delivery approach, you should also provide good options for automating the delivery process, freeing up both your time and allowing you to add more value to them.

The parts that would simplify your work is:

  1. Automated testing that enables you to prove that the integration works as expected.
  2. Transport process that enables you to perform all code review tasks easier
  3. Automate the documentation for all the projects.

There is one tool that enables you to do it. It is Figaf.

?

We created a short video how you can make your projects more successful with automation.

2411 Release: Better iFlow Deployment Handling

We got a new release of Figaf. We have made some pretty nice improvements to this.

It's was a tad bit late due to bug fixes but it is worth it.

  • Ability to compare the configured external properties values versus the deployed properties. This makes it significantly easier to see if there is sometimes a disconnect between the two.
  • Deploy iFlows in batches. You can now deploy or un-deploy a number of iFlows. This is useful for when you plan a go-live, failover scenarios, or planned downtime.
  • Edge integration cell support to improve how you can test the integration works and monitor the status of how it is working
  • Improved the testing of test suites
  • Improve the API to make it easier to approve from external systems like Jira, SNOW or where approval takes place.
  • And several bugfixes.

It is just one of the things that will simplify your daily life working with SAP Integration.

SAP CPI Path: A web-based version of SAP CPI Navigator

Interesting project presented by Omkar Patel with trying to make it easier to navigate and manage your SAP Cloud Integration tenant's workspace.

Managing SAP Cloud Platform Integration (SAP CPI) artifacts can be overwhelming, but CPI Path, a web-based tool inspired by the original SAP CPI Navigator, simplifies the process.

With features like quick artifact search, easy exporting, and secure access, CPI Path is designed to streamline artifact management without the hassle of additional hosting setups.

New Pipeline Concept features: More bypass options and custom extensions

The Pipeline Concept has been updated with many improvements.

I'm impressed with the number of new features SAP can add to this quickly.?It proves that SAP is serious about this and is listening to customers.

The single XSLT template is an excellent idea that will simplify many cases, and many customers have requested it.

We must update our XSLT templates in our migrations to simplify some of the processing.

I would encourage you to explore the pipeline concept. There is many benefits to it. And do check also how Figaf can help with the operations aspect of it.

SAP TechEd 2025 will be onsite again.

SAP TechEd will finally be back as a physical event in Europe. That is really great I think and it will be interesting to see what it will be like. Moreover, I wonder if it will be like the old times.

?

You can now register for event updates and maybe I will see you there next year.

?See you in Berlin.

Special End-Of-The-Year Offer from Figaf

What if you could completely transform your SAP integration workflow in just 3 months?

It sounds bold, maybe even risky. Some might call it unconventional. But that's exactly why we're doing it.

At Figaf, we’ve seen firsthand how quickly SAP Integration Architects and teams can adopt our tool and experience tangible results. Many of our customers start using Figaf after just one hour of training.

Now, we’re putting that speed and simplicity to the test with an experimental offer.

We want to help SAP customers and partners go from saying, “I think Figaf can help,” to saying, “I know Figaf can help.”

Here’s the bundle we’ve put together to get you started:

?

  • 3 months of Figaf DevOps Suite
  • 30 ICOs migrated to Integration Suite
  • 6 training calls to ensure you’re up and running fast

?

Total value: 11,500 EUR. Your price: 1,699 EUR.

?

Why so low? Because we want to make it as easy as possible for you to try Figaf, explore its potential, and prove the value it can bring to your organization.

Oh, and we’re making it even easier:

?

Have a great weekend.

Hello Daniel Graversen , thank you for sharing cpi path with this. However. I would like to have small correction. It will not provide search artifact. Instead filter for packages only. To reduce unnecessary n+1 call for search.
