We often get complaints from end user's about slowness while accessing SAP Fiori. This topic needs highest attention from SAP and I am aware they are working on it since long. Here is my take on this on the problem and possible solutions available as on today.
Main reasons for SAP Fiori slowness:
jQuery Reliance
Large applications: Fiori applications can sometimes be feature-rich, leading to heavier code and slower loading times.
Network issues
Customization: Overly customized Fiori interfaces might introduce bloat and performance issues.
Ways to make Fiori faster and more appealing:
SAP's efforts: SAP is actively working on improving Fiori performance by migrating parts of UI5 to a newer, faster framework called OpenUI5. They're also optimizing existing components and reducing code size. Below are the links for more details.
