People moan about SAP not being easy to use or to put another way there was a lack of operational readiness change management when SAP was implemented, meaning the business went through hell and back....
But with most of the Fortune 1,000 on SAP is it any wonder that the global supply chain has remained firm and withheld the strain of COVID, The supply chain with SAP at is core has excelled ensuring disruption has been minimal.
So when you next hear HR professionals saying Millennial's cant use SAP because its to clunky and need better UX remind them that a) they are lucky to have a job as many of their peers currently dont b) its the clunky process driven robustness that has saved the day.
At a time when $2 out of every $3 invested in Digital is wasted, its a good time to focus on the one thing that has worked well and that's the SAP ECC digital core,
