“Santa’s workshop” becomes Swedish group’s newest toy

A company likened by its buyer to “Santa’s workshop” has become Swedish industrial group Teqnion’s fifth acquisition through KBS Corporate within 14 months.

UK Lanyard Makers, based in Dunsfold, Surrey, was founded in 2015 and designs and manufactures lanyards for use at occasions including major sporting events, business fairs and product launches.

Directors Kevin Kingham and Jennifer Kingham have built a flourishing company on the foundations of design quality, delivery accuracy and reputation, catering for an elite client base with a focus on continuous improvement and growth.

Over the last three years, UK Lanyard Makers has delivered around ￡1.3million in revenues per year with robust margins, and Kevin and Jennifer will continue to lead the company under Teqnion’s ownership.

Since May 2023, Teqnion , headed by CEO Johan Steene and CXO Daniel Zhang , has also bought Stanwell Group, Surge Protection Devices, Nubis Solutions and Avelair with the help of KBS.
