Santa Cruz Hotel Planned

A six story hotel known as the Cruz Hotel is being planned on Front Street in downtown Santa Cruz, California.?The 70 foot tall hotel would span an acre over six parcels on Front Street near Laurel Street.?The project is being proposed by SCSF Ventures LLC headed by Stephen Chen and Owen Lawlor.?The hotel would contain 232 guest rooms, ground floor retail, conference space, a restaurant and bar, café, and gym, spa and rooftop pool.?A parking structure would be built below ground.?The project will be considered by the city of Santa Cruz Planning Commission.?BCV Architecture is design the project.??
