SA/NT News & Events - 16 Oct 24

We had a great trip to Darwin a few weeks back and had around 25 members and prospective members join our 2 Coffee Connect meetings. They were very well received and I hope we can continue to offer up to 6 or so per year. We've also just launched our first Adelaide Hills Coffee Connect and are planning similar meetings for the Corporate Sector and YCAs in Adelaide before the end of 2024.
We also recently hosted the SA Large Firm Roundtable with Simon Grant speaking about the latest in Advocacy News and how we are working to strengthen the reputation of the profession. It was a good conversation, although I think many of the Partners in attendance enjoyed the networking as well.
The NT Business Leader Roundtable was a great discussion on the challenges facing regional employers with attracting talent, I'm looking forward to hearing back from our Brand and Marketing team on how we will be trying to support the regions in this space.
We are pleased to announce our NT EOY Quizmas Event which will include a Trivia Night, food and drinks and opportunities for members to come along, network and have a go at winning the Prize. Keep an eye out for this - it will be coming out soon.
The team have been busily planning our final few events for 2024, we are planning a Fizz and Fromage Wine and Cheese Tasting Night for the SA EOY event, we have the AGM and Milestone Awards tomorrow, the New Member Ceremony at the end of November and the highly anticipated the Adelaide Test Match Luncheon on Day 1 of the Adelaide Test. The guest speaker will be announced very soon, keep an eye out as registrations for most of these events will open in the next week or two and we expect to sell out quickly.
