While I know a speaker with a display is not a new concept, a rollable screen that wraps around the speaker and unfolds automatically is unique.

While I know a speaker with a display is not a new concept, a rollable screen that wraps around the speaker and unfolds automatically is unique.
The speaker's display can function like how you see content on a smartphone. One can also screencast their phone's display on the speaker and play videos. The idea is basically that you can watch videos on YouTube and even listen to songs via the speaker.
The device has support for Bluetooth and Wi-Fi as well, so you can directly connect to your home's internet and watch content on the speaker's display. It is basically like a tiny TV with good-sounding speakers.
What I liked about this is that it can also act as a fancy accessory or showpiece at your home. When you want to watch content on the speaker's display, you can disable the automatic rollable mechanism so that you can see the full screen like in TV mode. When not watching anything, you can simply enable the rollable mechanism, so that the screen keeps opening or closing automatically. This looks quite fancy and interesting that anyone might want to keep it in their home.

The display is OLED and I have to say, the quality seemed really good. The colours are quite punchy and it is very bright as well in broad daylight. But, this is just the concept of an AI speaker, and we don't have information on when it could be made available for commercial purposes all over the world. The details of AI functionalities and other features are also currently unknown. We would love to see Samsung making this available in India.
