Welcome to this month’s Samsung Scroll. We’ve been up to a lot lately, from research and recording in slow-motion, to AI, drag queens, and … a rhino!

Paving the way for accessible technology after research reveals that inaccessible designs are excluding millions of consumers in the UK

Technology should be for everyone. But did you know that 68% of adults with visible and invisible disabilities feel excluded from products and services because of accessibility issues? There is still work to be done in making technology accessible for all, so, as part of our commitment to advancing accessibility, we created Project INKlusion, a collaborative venture to enhance inclusive design.

At Samsung, we are committed to advancing accessibility in technology. For example, our mobile and TV screens have accessible voice and caption tools. Likewise, hearing enhancements, voice feedback and Braille labels exist across our range of smart appliances.

Tech for saving time on editing, writing and creating

When it comes to buying a laptop, speed and usability are top of most people’s minds. Well, the new Samsung Galaxy Chromebook Plus hits that sweet spot. With a tap of the dedicated keyboard button, a menu pops up and gives you easy access to everything you might need. From ‘Help Me Write’ to help you craft new text, edit what you’ve written or change the tone, or even instantly adding a URL link or quickly finding the perfect emoji or GIF.

We teamed up with TV & Film Stunt Co-ordinator Tony Christian – credited on films including Wicked, the Fast and Furious franchise and The Avengers – to go behind the scenes of the nation’s favourite movie stunts with Instant Slow-Mo on Galaxy S24 FE.
