OUR PEOPLE
Starting with three cheers for our Solve for Tomorrow Next Gen winners!
To mark International Youth Day, Samsung announced this year’s Solve for Tomorrow Next Gen Competition winners. As part of Samsung’s wider Solve for Tomorrow Programme, which reached 23,878 students in 2024, the competition inspires 11-15-year-olds to come up with tech-powered solutions to help solve everyday problems. From a bear that links to an app and encourages young people to tackle hate, to a covert safety bangle designed to support girls and women while travelling alone, this year’s record-breaking 1,153 entries – all based on the theme of inclusivity – are nothing short of inspiring. Check out this year’s winners here.
OUR PRODUCTS
We also celebrated the nation’s passion for vacuuming with a series of first-of-its-kind portraits ??
More than a quarter (26%) of Brits admit vacuuming is their ‘guilty pleasure’. So, we did some digging to unveil the country’s top cleaning icons, with Mary Poppins taking the number-one spot and Mrs Doubtfire closely following. To celebrate the nation’s clear love for vacuuming, we teamed up with renowned artist, Nathan Wyburn, to create unique dirt-based portraits of the icons’ faces on home surfaces using the powerful?Bespoke JetTM?AI?vacuum – so cool. See more of the portraits and who made the top 10 icons list here. ?

And it’s not just cleaning innovation that we championed this month. We also brought seamless and innovative mobile searching to even more Galaxy users
We now offer the Circle to Search with Google function to even more Galaxy users. Initially only available on Galaxy S24 series devices, select Galaxy A series[1] users can now also access the innovative search experience too, with availability on Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Tab S9 FE+ devices following soon. The function offers a transformative experience of discovery beyond traditional search methods by simply circling an item of interest in order to find out more about it.

OUR PARTNERSHIPS
Looking back on an Olympic partnership to remember
It’s been a huge privilege for us at Samsung, as a Worldwide Olympic and Paralympic Partner, to contribute to Paris 2024. We’ve loved every second of it, from working closer than ever with The International Olympic Committee to deliver Galaxy Z Flip6 Olympic Edition phones to every Paris 2024 athlete to seeing the medallists capture and share their winning smiles in Victory Selfies on the podium. We also teamed up with Team GB breakdancer, Karam Singh, to empower Brits to try the new Olympic sport and created a docuseries in the lead up to the Games exploring skateboarding, breakdancing and surfing communities and their belief in openness.
