Samsung Electronics Philippines - Odyssey Gaming Tournament for Employees

Manila, Philippines – June 6, 2024 – Samsung Electronics Philippines (SEPCO) announced the global launch of its 2024 Odyssey OLED gaming monitor, Smart Monitor and ViewFinity monitor lineups.

In line with this, SEPCO Display Solutions in collaboration with People Group, hosted a two-day offline Odyssey Gaming Tournament for its employees on June 13 – 14, 2024. The aim is to provide them with first-hand experiences of the 2024 Samsung Monitor One Launch Odyssey OLED models – G8 and G6. These new and updated models bring features that SEPCO employees want. The Odyssey OLED G8 is the first flat 32” Samsung OLED gaming monitor with 4K UHD (3840 x 2160) resolution and a 16:9 aspect ratio. It has a 240Hz refresh rate and 0.03ms gray-to-gray (GtG) response time for ultra-smooth and responsive gameplay. The Odyssey OLED G6 is a 27” QHD (2560 x 1440) resolution monitor, supporting a 16:9 aspect ratio. Its 360Hz refresh rate and 0.03ms GtG response time make it easy for gamers to keep up with fast-moving gameplay.

The event provided an intimate time for partnership among different business units – Mobile, Home Appliances, Aircon, and Support. Mobile Team won the 3v3 Final Match.

It also served as a platform for participants to hear directly from Display Solutions and see the wonders of the product lineup for themselves.
