[You could say]
Alright, let’s go around the room and get a tiny bite of who’s here. Please state your first name and if you are a caterpillar or butterfly. Try not to over think it. We don’t need companies or job titles or why you chose one or the other.
[Have the following up on a slide, post-it pad, or in an online whiteboard environment like Miro or Mural. This is so people remember what they are supposed to do.]
__What is your first name?
__Are you a butterfly or a caterpillar?
[Spend a few minutes on the following propmts. You will find that once people start speaking, more will want to engage. So either budget enough time for everyone or be ready to set a boundary/limit.]
[Prompt] Raise your hand if you picked butterfly
[Prompt] How about Caterpillars??
[Prompt] Would anyone like to share what they chose and why?
[select 2-3 ?people to share briefly. If you get too many of one type, specifically ask, for the other with something like:]
OK, we’ve got a lot of butterflies. Who is a Caterpillar and could you tell us why?
Any observations on this? [select 1-2 people to share briefly what they observed, promote a brief dialog]
