In 2025, we’re building on our existing offering and expanding our reach through our five core service lines:
At MAGENTA, we’re not just imagining a better future—we’re building it, one solution at a time. Starting the year with resilience
With the recent challenges and seismic shifts we've been facing in the development sector, it's more important than ever to stay focused on the life-saving work we’re doing.
At MAGENTA, we’re driven by a commitment to creating real change, no matter the obstacles. Every solution we design and campaign we launch is a step toward building stronger, more resilient communities. Although we're moving through a challenging moment in our path to building a brighter, more prosperous future, we're also excited to be expanding into new countries and regions. Our recent project in Poland is our first in Europe, and we're excited to get started with work in Burundi. The impact we make in empowering people and transforming behaviours is what keeps us moving forward. Just recently we've been in Poland implementing a workshop around engaging with Ukrainian refugees in and around collective shelters. Read more about it here.
First Latin America Digital Defenders Summit, Mexico City, Mexico

The discussion brought together national activists and regional UN representatives to explore the progress and challenges women face in living free from online violence.Paola shared key insights from our digital violence project, highlighting the importance of a behavioural approach and the potential for engaging men in creating solutions to digital?violence.
MAGENTA Impact Corner?
The true extent of sexual violence against children is likely underreported due to the stigma surrounding these cases.
To address this, MAGENTA, in collaboration with UNICEF Burundi and the Ministry of National Solidarity, Social Affairs, Human Rights and Gender, is conducting groundbreaking research to better understand the social norms that contribute to and can prevent such violence, as well as the barriers to accessing support services.
Last month, Siri-Christine Mobekk and Giulio Vialetto traveled to Burundi to train local moderators, pilot interview tools for accurate and sensitive data collection, and present the project to key national stakeholders. This marks the first study of its kind in Burundi, and the strong interest shown during this visit underscores the urgency of tackling this issue. We’re excited for the insights this research will provide, with the findings?driving?real change in children's protection and Burundi's national development.
