A  CEO of a large industrial house visits an ashram. A disciple of the ashram was cleaning the utensils there. The CEO had heard about the past of the disciple.

He was a bright student in his college. Very dynamic and aggressive to the core. Finished his Engineering in Mechanical with honors. But now he only washes and cleans the utensils in the ashram and helps in cooking prasad for the devotees.

The CEO was quite inquisitive to know about the change in the disciple’s life. He started prodding to the monk – how do you feel now? What will be your future?

The monk listened to all the questions. He smiled and answered politely :

As a CEO you are achieving one goal after another. You were a GM and then became a CEO and then you will be a Director and so on. You are in the front side of the boat. I am behind and towards the end of the boat. But, if you look around, both of us are in the same ocean!!
