Sam Braddock Likes HVAC!

A Few Words From Sam Braddock

“I began a career at a mechanical contractor that specialized in cooling tower refurbishments and replacements. Two years there, in a hybrid sales/work role, everything from conducting job walks and quoting jobs to getting hands dirty ripping out fill media, sandblasting and coating, cleanings, and mechanical changeouts.

I went to rep firm DMG in Los Angeles, where I worked for nearly seven years. I started as an applications engineer for Wetside Products (Marley/Recold/TACO pumps) since that is what my experience was in previously—got quickly moved over to inside sales role supporting all the line card. After four years there, I was promoted to Outside Sales Engineer, doing precisely what I intend to do here, selling successful projects and supporting my customers to the end.

During my time in applications/inside sales, I went back to school at Cypress College and completed an Air Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration certificate program.

I married my wife Samantha (we are Sam Squared!) amid the pandemic, October 2020, on our sixth dating anniversary. We have two cats and hope to add a baby in the next year.

As far as what I enjoy, not sure there is enough room. Haha—man of many interests. I will try to narrow it down. I love golf, have 3D printers that I enjoy tinkering with, like building and refurbishing furniture and random things, and am very fond of home automation.”
