Sam Bankman-Fried goes on trial in New York City tomorrow

This is the week that many in the crypto industry have been waiting for since FTX imploded last year. Sam Bankman-Fried?goes on trial in a Manhattan courtroom starting Tuesday.

SBF is the poster child for all that went wrong with crypto and the trial will detail much of the Wild West approach FTX took. He faces seven criminal counts and is accused of being the mastermind of a years-long fraud taking billions of dollars of customer money. His outlook seems bleak as several of his closest associates have pleaded guilty and will testify against him.

As one former prosecutor stated, “It doesn’t appear that there’s any sort of path to victory for Mr. Bankman-Fried".

If convicted on all counts he will likely spend the rest of his life in jail.

With 1,300 exhibits expected to be introduced at the trial, we are all going to get an inside look at one of the biggest frauds in financial history.? Buckle up.
