In response to the Southern California wildfires, The Salvation Army is collaborating with FEMA and other agencies at newly established Disaster Recovery Centers (DRCs). These centers are a lifeline for individuals and families seeking assistance and resources in the aftermath of the fires.

What Is a DRC?

Disaster Recovery Centers provide a centralized space for survivors to access critical resources, ask questions, and begin rebuilding their lives. They bring together government agencies, nonprofits, and community organizations to provide comprehensive support.

Our Role

At the DRCs, The Salvation Army is focused on emotional and spiritual care. Beyond collecting applications, our team listens to the experiences of each individual, offering understanding and personalized care as they navigate this difficult time.
