Salute to Service

AdvicePeriod is honored to have 2 military veterans on our team - and we would like more. As we prepare to celebrate Veteran’s Day this weekend, we want to publicly appreciate our veterans and all those who have served.

Josh Styrcula, CFP? is our Partner Advisor based in Ohio and served in the Ohio Army National Guard for 9 years. He was deployed overseas twice - to Europe and Kuwait - and provided relief during Hurricane Katrina. While serving, he graduated from Wright State University where he majored in financial services - kicking off his career as an advisor.

Jorge Soriano is an Advisor in our Los Angeles office who joined the US Marine Corps at the age of 18. He served for 6 years, including one tour in Iraq after being called back into service following September 11th. After completing his distinguished service, Jorge started a successful career in finance - including earning his MBA from Duke University.

AdvicePeriod’s connections to our military also extend to our team’s family. Alan Bonde is a Partner Advisor in Los Angeles whose son is a junior at USC and enrolled in the Marine section of the Navy’s ROTC program. He’s excited to build a career in the military.

We are very proud of our teammates and their families who have served and we want more veterans on our squad, which is why we have partnered with several affinity groups to help us recruit veterans.
